Apollo Hospitals to add 1,000 beds in Gujarat

Apollo is targeting tier-II and tier-III cities like Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bharuch for hospital projects.

Apollo has already entered into an agreement with a non-government organistion for a 70-100 bed hospital project in Gandhidham and is close to inking a deal for setting up a hospital in Vadodara.

"For this we are aiming to pump in Rs 200 crore in next two years," Dr Praful Pawar, CEO of Apollo Hospitals Ahmedabad said on the sidelines of a function to announce a seminar
