Essar Oil net loss at Rs 13 cr

Reeling under the weight of higher under-recoveries, Essar Oil posted a net loss of Rs 13.40 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, as against a net profit of Rs 12 lakh for corresponding quarter last financial year.

Nalco net down 42%

National Aluminium Company today posted a 42.46 per cent dip in its net profit at Rs 329.44 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, from Rs 572.6 crore in the year-ago period. Nalco's total income dropped 19.34 per cent to Rs 1,247.26 crore in the latest quarter.

Eicher Motors PAT dips 11.2%

Commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motor today reported a 11.2 per cent decline in profit after tax for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, at Rs 15.8 crore as against Rs 17.8 crore in the same period a year ago.
