Kavveri Tele buys technology, IPRs from US firm

Kavveri Telecom Products has acquired technology, intellectual property rights and patents of Cellular Infrastructure Base Station Antenna Line of erstwhile Sigma Wireless of Ireland from Chicago-based PCTEL Inc.

Along with the technology, IPR and patents, the company will also get access to the customers and vendors of Sigma Wireless in Europe.

The company, which clocked Rs 50 crore sales revenues last year, is a major supplier of base station antennae to Indian mobile service providers and international telecom technology companies.
