It may be too early to say whether the recent monkeypox outbreak, which has spread to 24 nations with over 435 confirmed cases, could lead to a global pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.

The global health body, however, noted that there is a "window" of opportunity to curb rising cases, CNBC reported.

Terrorists on Tuesday shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit teacher in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Rajni Bala (36) of Samba in Jammu region sustained injuries when terrorists fired at her in Gopalpora area of Kulgam where she was posted as a teacher, they said.

Shanghai moves toward ending 2-month Covid-19 lockdown

Shanghai authorities say they will take some major steps Wednesday toward reopening China's largest city after a two-month Covid-19 lockdown that has throttled the national economy and largely bottled up millions of people in their homes.

Nepal plane crash: 12 bodies to be flown to Kathmandu, black box recovered

Nepali Army is preparing to bring 12 bodies to Kathmandu on Tuesday after the mortal remains of all the 22 victims were recovered from the Tara aeroplane crash site that took place in the Mustang district of Nepal on Sunday morning.

Notably, two bodies have been brought to the base station in Khabang-Mustang today while black box has also been recovered from the crash site.
