Govt earmarks Rs 10,000 cr for border posts

The Centre has earmarked Rs 10,000 crore for construction of residential facilities and upgradation of border posts for troops of central paramilitary forces. Union minister of state for home Jitendra Singh, who made the announcement on Monday at a CRPF event here, also said the Home Ministry has decided to create additional facilities including for recreation of personnel of central armed police forces at their Border Out Posts.
