Ishita Roy takes charges as secretary general of ISC

Ishita Roy, today took over as the Secretary General of (ISC), the inter-government organisation of silk producing countries.

Roy was elected in an election during the ISC Conference on September 14, 2012 at Cluj Napoca, Romania. ISC was instituted in 1960 and its headquarter in Lyon has been moved to Bangalore to start operations in India from January 1, 2013.
