US markets end firm

The US markets ended in the green. The Dow Jones closed at 10058, stronger by 150 points or 1.5%, Nasdaq ended at 2150, higher by 24 points or 1.1% and S&P shut at 1070, up 13 points or 1.3%.

The Indian ADRs had a good trading session. Patni Computers gained $1.5 or 8% at $20 and Infosys strengthened by $2.1 or 4.1% at $53.

ICICI Bank added $1.4 or 4.3% at $35, HDFC hardened by $113.4 or $2.6 at 2.3% and MTNL was up $0.1 or 3.2% at $3.1.       

There were no losers.
