We Are Committed To India: Fiis
Last Updated at January 28, 2013 00:20 IST
In a day of dramatic market developments today, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) assured their Indian interlocutors that they would remain committed to India as long as the government took the right steps to push economic reforms and revive market sentiments.
The assurance came in the wake of reports in Business Standard that FIIs could be pulling out of the Indian markets and at least four of them were believed to be unwinding their equity positions.
The sensex also reacted sharply today to end the day at 2680.98.
