Oil India commissions 54 MW wind project in Rajasthan

Strengthens its footprint in renewable energy, project to be set up at Dangri in Jaisalmer district

Oil India Ltd (OIL) has commissioned its 54 mega watt wind turbine plant at Dangri in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, there by strengthening its footprint in renewable energy. The 54 MW project comprises of 27 wind turbine generator (WTG) units and each unit has an installed capacity of 2000 Kw. The wind farm was effectively connected to the Rajasthan State Electricity Grid at ‘AKAL’, at a distance of 47 Km from ‘Dangri’ Wind Farm.
