Parliament productivity: A snapshot

Click on graphic The Lok Sabha's 2015 Budget session was the most productive in the past decade, according to independent think-tank PRS Legislative Research. The Lok Sabha had a productivity of 121 per cent, implying it did 21 per cent more work than what it had scheduled for itself at the beginning of the session. However, it must be remembered this is also the only Lok Sabha in the past decade to have a one-party majority.
