Stunting in children declined in past decade: Report

Stunting among children in the country declined in the past decade - between 2005 to 2014 - but still exceeds levels observed in countries at similar income levels, the 'India Health Report on Nutrition' showed. The report, jointly prepared by the Public health Foundation of India and International Food Policy Research Institute, was released on Thursday and is based on secondary data furnished by National Health Surveys, Poverty Estimates and so on.
