Local language health info provider myUpchar raises $5 mn in Series-A funds

Delhi-headquartered myUpchar, which provides health information in Indian languages, has raised a Series-A round of $5 million from Nexus Venture Partners, Omidyar Network and Shunwei Capital, the company said in a statement. myUpchar, which is trying to increase healthcare awareness across the socio-economic spectrum in India, is already accessed by more than 10 million people.
