Inflation leaves Coca-Cola's bottling arm HCCB thirsty in Indi

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), the bottling arm of Coca-Cola in India, posted a loss of Rs 1.18 billion in 2017-18 (FY18). This was a second year of losses for the largest bottling company in the country; in 2016-17 (FY17), it had posted a loss of Rs 2.33 billion, according to documents with the Registrar of Companies. In 2015-16 and 2014-15, HCCB had posted net profits of Rs 1.74 billion and Rs 2.41 billion, respectively.
