JK govt suspends 13 edu dept officials

In a surprise check conducted yesterday at several schools here by Kashmir School Education director Mohammad Shafi Rather, 13 officials were found unauthorisedly absent from duty, an official spokesman said.

The 13 officials, including teachers, have been placed under suspension.
