Businesswoman Deepa Jagtiani became the first female contestant to win Rs 6,40,000 today during the premiere of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) eighth season here.
KBC has travelled out of Mumbai for the first time.
Deepa made an impressive start on the show initially but she later got confused with her answers as the questions became tough towards the next level.
She used all her lifelines to win Rs 6,40,0000.
Before signing out of the show, Deepa, who was accompanied by her brother and mother on the show, also requested the 71-year-old host to recite the dialogues of his superhit film 'Agneepath'.
Most of the contestants participating in the first episode of the new season are Gujarat-based.
