Two persons lynched

mob at Kewali village in Bihar's Gaya district, a police officer said today.
Suspecting them to be thieves, the villagers overpowered two persons while they were standing near a car last night and beat them, Superintendent of Police (SP), City, Babu Ram said.
The police rushed to the village and took the injured to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital (AMNMCH) where they succumbed to their injuries today, he said.
A case has been registered against unidentified persons in this connection and an investigation was underway, he said.
