What is expected out of you?

Powering our digital and social media campaigns by creating action oriented copy for text and display advertisements to be published on platforms like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc.

Ability to write short powerful and crisp copy which can generate response is a must.

Creating powerful content for our campaign landing pages on various topics.

Contributing to subscriber/reader communication, info-sections etc.

Generate ideas while brain storming with the creative team on the overall subscription acquisition communication.

We are looking at a young, dynamic and passionate about Social Media person.
Graduates/Post Graduates in Arts/Communications from institutes of repute will enjoy preference.
Relevant work experience in a Digital advertising agency or Copy creation will be preferred

Ideal candidate should not be more than 30 years old.

LOCATION : Worli, Mumbai

CTC : As per Industry Standards

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday - 9AM to 6 PM

Defining the Assignment

Business Standard is a premium content creator. Readers respect the brand for its credible and quality content. Business Standard is India's first large publisher to have a reader pay wall.

While all the news is Free to consume, content which is processed and unique is set behind the paywall. To access this content readers need to pay. The brand has a distribution tie-up with the global business leader "The Wall Street Journal" Readers can buy subscription packages of Business Standard stand alone or alongwith The Wall Street Journal.

With an objective of growing it's subscriber base, Business Standard regularly harnesses the power of social and other digital media channels via Paid Advertisements.

These advertisements are spread across Social, Search and Affiliate channels. Google Search, Facebook Ads, Instagram Posts, Twitter push and Linkedin Sponsored posts are amongst the various platforms used. We also extensively use Display banners across the Google Display Network and Affiliate channels.

The primary requirement is for Copy support for the various communications.

The key to success parameter is Crisp, Sharp and Stimulating copy.

Key Objective is Customer (Subscription) Acquisition

The task also includes creating interesting copy for the landing pages and other communication associated with the subscription program.

This task does not include publishing or creating content for the Business Standard Social Handles.
