Promoted by O P Agarwal Pawan Gupta and K K Oberoi Indo Britain Agro Farms was incorporated in May '94 as a public limited company. It is engaged in the manufacture of white button mushrooms.The company commenced commercial production on a plant rented by it at Hisar Haryana with a capacity of 25 tpa. The company has set up a 100% EOU at Juglan (Hisar district) Haryana in collaboration with Macon Agri UK with a capacity of 1000 tpa of fresh mushrooms/white button mushrooms preserved in citric acid and brine. The company entered the capital market in May '95 to part-finance the project.Macon Agri provides the technical know-how and also has a 100% buy-back arrangement with the company.The company completed the project and started growing mushrooms in Feb.'96 as against Jul.'95 as projected in the project due to severe flood in the area and delay in public issue.
