Daman & Diu, the lone Lok Sabha Constituency in the Union Territory of Daman & Diu, is currently held by Lalubhai Babubhai Patel of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Patel beat Ketan Dahyabhai Patel of the Indian National Congress (INC) by receiving 42.98% of the votes cast in this constituency.
Daman & Diu is one of the constituencies in 1-seat Daman & Diu. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Daman & Diu went to the polls on April 23, 2019, in Phase 3. It saw 71.83% of its registered electors turning out to vote, against 78.01% in the previous national elections held in 2014. Lalubhai Babubhai Patel defeated his nearest rival, Ketan Dahyabhai Patel, by a margin of 9942 votes. While Patel received 42.98 votes, runner-up Ketan Dahyabhai Patel polled 31.62 votes.
