Stock Market LIVE Updates: India stock markets today crashed 1 per cent in intraday trade on Monday, January 13, 2025, leaving investors looking for cover. The BSE Sensex index today tumbled 909 points or 1.1 per cent to hit a low of 76,456. The NSE Nifty50, on the other hand, shed 309.6 points or 1.3 per cent to touch a low of 23,172.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: NBCC signs MoU with Sarkari Awas Nirman Avam Vitt Nigam; bags Rs 3.500-cr project

Stock Market LIVE Updates: NBCC (India) today informed that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sarkari Awas Nirman Avam Vitt Nigam Ltd, "whereby the latter party has agreed to award works  relate to execution of mixed land use development of Poorvi Vihar, Lucknow".

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This is to inform that NBCC (India) Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sarkari Awas Nirman Avam Vitt Nigam Ltd whereby the later party has agreed to award the works related to exeution of mixed land use development of Poorvi Vihar, Lucknow approximately admeasuring 588 Acre to NBCC as Project management Consultant and Whereas NBCC has agreed to undertake and complete all works accordingly on the terms and condition set forth in the MoU". 

"Subsequent to the signing of the MoU, NBCC has been assigned with the work of taking of the possession and planning, designing and development of encumbrance free site admeasuring 50 acres as phase 1 of the Project having approx. value of Rs. 3,500 crores," it added.

NBCC will execute the project on 'deposit on work' basis and the agency charges is 10 per cent on the actual cost of the project, plus GST and taxes as per applicable rates, it further noted.

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "We are pleased to inform you that our Company has emerged as L-1 bidder in Financial Bid Opening dated 13th January 2025 for the following tender invited by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDC)".

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Vivo Bio Tech today informed that it has successfully secured approval from the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), obtained funding from a financial institution, and completed the development of a state-of-the-art large animal facility. 

The company, in an exchange filing, said, "This advanced 15,000 sq. ft facility, co-funded through internal accruals and institutional debt, is designed to house,
breed, and conduct studies on canines, pigs, mini-pigs, sheep, and goats".

Operations have already commenced at the facility, which offers a wide range of services, including Pharmacokinetic (PK), Pharmacodynamic (PD), Surgical Studies, and Toxicology Studies, it added. 

These services are being provided to an expanding list of major pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical companies, the company said.

This new capability significantly strengthens Vivo Bio Tech’s existing ecosystem, which encompasses In-vitro and In-vivo Small Animal Studies, Eco-Toxicology, Analytical, and Bio-analytical services. 

"The addition of this large animal facility enables us to deliver comprehensive Investigational New Drug (IND) packages to pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide," the company noted.

Stock Market LIVE Updates: Cargo solutions provider Afcom Holdings shares were in demand on Monday, January 13, 2025, as the share price zoomed as much as 5 per cent to hit the upper circuit at Rs 1,074.85 apiece. 

However, at 12:00 noon, Afcom Holdings share price were off day’s high and were trading merely 0.81 per cent higher at Rs 1,032. In comparison, BSE Sensex was trading 0.74 per cent lower at 76,802.74 levels.
