    Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has finalised a joint venture agreement with Chery Automobile Co to manufacture and sell vehicles in China, the two companies said.The joint venture will manufacture JLR- and JV-branded vehicles and engines, set up a research and development facility, and sell vehicles produced by the JV, they said in a joint statement.

    Formula One (F1), the top global motor racing series, is considering options for a stock market listing, a source told Reuters, as media reports put Singapore on the map as its preferred location for the float.

    A Singapore listing for F1 would potentially make it the second major sports brand to look at the wealthy Southeast Asian city-state after English Premier League soccer club Manchester United considered a $1 billion Singapore IPO late last year.

    Rupee dropped to two-week low by slipping 31 paise to 50.70 against the dollar in the late morning trade on sustained demand for the American currency from banks and importers.

    The rupee resumed lower at 50.50/51 per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market as against the last closing level of 50.39/40 per dollar and declined further to 50.70, before quoting at 50.61/62 per dollar at 1030 hrs.
