18 Snake hatchlings rescued from college building in Odisha's Bhadrak

Bhadrak (Odisha), Sep 30 (ANI): As many as 18 snake hatchlings were rescued from the premises of Saheed Memorial Junior College at Saheed Nagar under Dhamnagar block in Bhadrak District. The videos of rescue operation of these Snakes which took place a week ago have gone viral.

Students of the college spotted the movement of snake hatchlings in a crack developed on the wall of an old building. Being scared, they informed Bhadrak district snake helpline.

Mirza Arif Beg, a local snake rescuer reached the college and rescued as many as 18 snake hatchlings digging up the crack on the concrete wall. Later, the reptiles were handed over to Bhadrakh forest officials.
