5 Ministers dropped out of Cabinet for being 'underperformers'

New Delhi, July 05 (ANI): As 19 ministers swore-in the Union Cabinet on Tuesday, five ministers resigned from the Narendra Modi Cabinet. Those who resigned from the Cabinet include Minister of State for Water Resources Sanwar Lal Jat, Minister of State River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya, Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Nihal Chand, Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasavam, Minister of State for Human Resource Development Ram Shankar Katheria.

They were shown the door after they were rated as "underperformer" in an assessment done by the Prime Minister himself.
