Udhampur (J-K), Aug 30 (ANI): Thousands of people flocked to Udhampur's Meer village of Panchari area to attend the three days long Sankari Devta mela. From the Meer village the message of communal harmony comes out loud and clears as every year people belonging to Hindu-Muslim communities set their journey to the Sankari Devta temple to celebrate the three-day-long fair held in remembrance of Sankari baba.

It is believe that during this three-day affair Sankari Devta pays a visit to his followers. The occasion also attracts vendors, who sells ornaments and eatables to the visitors.
