AP CM orders to form inquiry committee on infant gnawed to death in Guntur

Vijayawada, Aug 27 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu ordered to form an inquiry committee on the heinous case of infant being gnawed by rats to death, and was left unattended by the doctors on duty in Guntur. Post the incident the burden of the onus of the infant's death fell on the doctors in charge at that point of time.

Communications Advisor to AP Govt Dr. Parakala Prabhakar apprised the media on Thursday that the CM is shocked on the magnitude of negligence of the doctors on duty and is determined to bring the truth out.

He also said that the CM announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakhs for the victim's kin.
