Army pays tribute to jawans martyred in Kupwara encounter

Srinagar, Feb 14 (ANI): Wreath laying ceremony of the two army personnel who lost their lives in the encounter with militants in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir has been performed in Srinagar on Sunday. The Indian Army on Sunday paid tributes to the two jawans, who laid down their lives battling militants Kupwara encounter yesterday.

The slain soldiers have been identified as Naik Shinde Shankar Chandrabhan, a resident of Nasik in Maharashtra and Gunner Sahadev Maruti More from Bijapur in Karnataka.
