CM Naidu lays foundation stone for State Forensic Science Lab

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 28 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday, laid foundation stone of State Forensic Science Laboratory in Tulluru near Amaravati. The FSR will be spread across three acres of land with the estimated cost of Rs 250 Crore.

The FSL was approved by the Union Cabinet under the umbrella scheme of 'Modernization of Police Forces'. DGP N Sambasiva Rao, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

While addressing the dignitaries, CM Naidu said forensic science lab is very needy these days. Criminals should not go scot free for lack of evidence.

He termed the upcoming Forensic Science Lab as world's best. The laboratory is expected to be completed in next three years.

Terming technology as the need of the hour in Police, the CM added that they should use technology but should not be over dependant on it.
