Buyers were seen flouting social distancing norms at the market. The nationwide lockdown imposed to combat COVID-19 will last till May 03. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in national capital stands at 2625, which includes 54 deaths.

Dr Morepen on Tuesday forayed into the growing wellness segment with the launch of a weight management initiative.
The company, a fully-owned subsidiary of Morepen Laboratories, is looking to establish itself in the segment which is currently valued at around Rs 12,000 crore and growing at an annual rate of 16 per cent.
The company has launched its wellness product -- LightLife -- designed to tackle India's growing obesity crisis.
India's obesity rate is increasing and this segment is expected to touch USD 52.3 billion by 2032, "reflecting the urgency to address weight management with solutions that are both safe and effective," Dr Morepen CEO Varun Suri said.
With LightLife the company is looking to address the obesity issue without crash diets or harmful fads, he stated.
According to the World Obesity Atlas 2024, over 25 per cent of Indian adults are projected to face obesity by 2035.

E-commerce major Amazon on Tuesday pledged its commitment to enabling USD 80-billion in cumulative exports from India by 2030.
The new vision marks an ambitious scale-up from the target so far of USD 20 billion by 2025.
Amit Agarwal, SVP, Emerging Markets, Amazon, announced the commitment at the company's annual 'Smbhav Summit'.
To achieve this goal, Amazon is collaborating closely with the government, lakhs of Indian small businesses, D2C brands, as well as other key stakeholders, he said.
"Motivated by the progress that we made in driving exports out of India... we are going to advance our commitment to enable USD 80 billion in exports by 2030," Agarwal said.
Since its launch in 2015, Amazon Global Selling has over 150,000 registered sellers from 200-plus cities across India who are set to surpass USD 20 billion in cumulative exports from India by 2024-end, according to a company blog.

A division bench comprising Justices S M Subramaniam and M Jyothiraman passed the order on Monday on proceedings initiated by it.
In its order, the bench said the Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per the prison department, 153 remand prisoners were still languishing in various prisons across Tamil Nadu even after grant of bail.
As many as 22 convict prisoners were also in prison after  suspension of sentence by the appellate courts. The Additional public prosecutor also submitted that there was delay in receiving the bail orders from the District courts. He submitted that as far as the High Court was concerned, order copies were received immediately, the bench added.

The Karnataka government on Tuesday signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the New Jersey Department of State, US, marking a significant step towards enhancing global cooperation in technology, innovation, and economic development, officials said.
