Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurates 'The Mangalajodi Inheritance' photo exhibition

New Delhi, Jan 6 (ANI): Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday inaugurated 'The Mangalajodi Inheritance' at Indian Habitat Centre in the national capital. The event was organised by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in association with The Bhubaneswar Bird Walks (TBBW).

Showering praises for the eco-tourism in Mangalajodi for its rich species of migratory birds, Pradhan said that Chilika Lake is one of the major tourism spots in the country. Talking about the future projects, he said bridge will come up in future joining Chilika and Mangalajodi from Coastal and Rural Part of Odisha.

He thanked the dignitaries present at the event, including Ambassador from Japan, to provide assistance in technical cooperation in the state. The objective of the synopsis was to obtain UNESCO heritage status for Asia's largest brackish water lake by bringing together experts from ecotourism, conservation, NGOs and Media.
