Dozens of animals rescued from circus in Maharashtra, two officials arrested

Nanded, March 26 (ANI): Dozens of animals were rescued from a circus in Maharashtra. Two officials of the circus were also arrested by the police for 'cruelty against animals'.

Acting on a complaint by Animal Welfare Board, police rescued endangered birds and animals from Moonlight Circus in Nanded town of Maharashtra. The rescued animals including elephants, horses and dogs along with several birds have been sent to city zoo.
