Ghana couple approaches Sushma Swaraj to extend visa for ailing daughter's treatment

Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh Jan 09 (ANI): Ghana couple approaches Sushma Swaraj to extend visa for ailing daughter's treatment A couple from African nation Ghana has approached External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to extend their visa for getting their ailing daughter treated in Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad. Swaraj has given a positive response to the parents, who arrived in India on tourist visa earlier.

Their four-and-half-year-old daughter is suffering from cerebral palsy, a permanent movement disorder that develops in early childhood. Symptoms of the ailment include poor coordination, stiff and weak muscles with difficulties in sensation, vision, hearing, swallowing and speech.

The patient's father has urged the government to let him go back to his native place while his wife and daughter should be allowed to stay back.
