Govt accepts Shah panel report on MAT, which wanted no retrospective tax on foreign investors

New Delhi, Sep 01 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday briefed about the situation in Manipur, where violence is continuing over Inner Line Permit System. Rijiju said that the situation is quite tense and eight people have died so far.

He said that curfew has been imposed around all troubled areas adding that the state government has been extended with all kind of support. Rijiju said that the Central government is closely monitoring the situation and close discussions have been held with CM and state officials over the situation.
