Heavy rain cause flood situation, Army begins rescue operation

Satna (MP), July 08 (ANI): Amid heavy rainfall, dozens of villages facing threat of floods have been waterlogged in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district. Incessant rains have destroyed standing crops in fields of villages in many areas.

The state has been receiving heavy rains triggering flash floods and landslides in several areas. Flood waters inundated houses in some localities of Amar Patan area and Pahadi Kheda village trapping farmers in flood waters.

However the army started the rescue operation across the area.
