Holland bulbs find home in Kashmir's Tulip Garden

Srinagar, Dec 18 (ANI): The plantation process of Holland bulbs is on full swing with final touches in the Kashmir's Tulip Garden. For last few months, the authorities of floriculture department are working hard to prepare the garden properly with new designs and sowing Holland bulbs.

The plantation drives of Holland bulbs are going with proper supervision of experts. This year, floriculture department has hired some scientists from Shere- Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) aimed to check any fungus or disease in bulbs.

The department of floriculture brought more than four lakhs of fresh bulbs from Holland and started plantation drive of bulbs despite severe cold aimed to attract tourists as well as locals during tulip season, which will be starts march 2017.
