I have supported Congress-BSP alliance from beginning: Digvijaya Singh

Patna (Bihar), Oct 03 (ANI): After Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati lashed out at Congress senior leader Digvijay Singh during a press conference, Singh clarified that he has always supported Congress-BSP alliance. "I've already made it clear that I respect Mayawati ji and have been in favour of Congress-BSP alliance from beginning.

In Chhattisgarh, there were talks for alliance but she didn't go for it. In MP too there were talks of alliance, she declared 22 candidates", said Digvijay Singh.

Mayawati had earlier said that Congress leaders like Digvijaya Singh do not wish for a Congress-BSP alliance. Mayawati also termed Digvijaya Singh as 'BJP Agent', to which he reacted by saying, "As far as I am concerned, I had been one of the bitterest critics of Modi ji, Amit Shah ji, BJP and RSS.

Rahul Gandhi is Congress chief, we follow his directions". BSP chief announced that the party will contest solo in the upcoming Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
