India, US to launch satellite on climate change in 2021

New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): India and the United States are collaborating to build a satellite on climate change which will be launched in 2021, said US ambassador to India Richard Verma.Divulging details, Verma said space agencies are developing NASA -ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar project or NISAR and plan to launch it from India's impressive geo-synchronised satellite launch vehicle in 2021.

Verma added that the satellite will use advance radar imaging to provide an unprecedented detail view of earth.
