Indian Army's flight expedition observing 1965 war anniversary arrives in Jaipur

Jaipur, Sep 13 (ANI): The 'Army Microlight Expedition', marking the golden jubilee celebrations of the 1965 war between India and Pakistan and paying respect to the fallen heroes, arrived on a private airstrip with a fleet of three aircraft on the outskirts of pink city Jaipur in Rajasthan on Sunday. Microlight aircraft are fixed and flexible wing aircraft.

During the one-hour stay, the aircraft crew interacted with the locals and shared their experiences about India's victory over Pakistan in the 1965 war. The expedition carried out by the Army Adventure Wing will fly 3,250 kilometers in different parts of the country where the war was fought.

One of the pilots in the team, Major Ankush Goyal said that to glorify the 1965 war, the expedition is visiting different places and making it a memorable event so that the citizens can remember the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
