Jammu and Kashmir Government, Centre open more than 1,400 schools for underprivileged students

Kathua (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 15 (ANI): With an aim to provide education to underprivileged children, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir with the assistance of the Centre has opened more than 1,400 schools in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district and nearly 90.000 children are studying in these school. The children of slums and under-developed areas are largely benefited from such schools.

School headmaster of one of these schools Jagdish Chander said the government is arranging all the required infrastructures in the school, which includes the well-qualified staff. With the assistance of educated staff dealing with patience, children are making the most of this initiative.
