Mixed reactions over Sonu Nigam's mid-air 'concert'

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Taking a serious note of Sonu Nigam's impromptu performance in a chartered flight, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma on Friday said he thinks there has been violation of some security protocols. He added that he will give direction to other airlines, directing not to repeat such incident ever again.

Disagreeing with the Minister's view, Aviation expert Harshvardhan said there is no violation in using the mic of the flight as nowadays many airlines does such programmes in their airplanes. He further added that this was a wrong decision taken by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Jet Airways has suspended five crew members who were part of a chartered flight after DGCA took serious note of an episode in which singer Sonu Nigam gave an impromptu performance using the in-flight announcement system.
