    Monkey fever claims 6 lives in Karnataka's Shivamogga

    Shivamogga (Karnataka), Jan 06 (ANI): At least six people have died due to Monkey fever or Kyasanur Forest Disease (KFD) in Karnataka's Shivamogga this week. Several cases of Kyasanur Forest Disease have emerged in the district. The deadly fever is similar to Dengue and starts with high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and body ache. Vaccination of over 2000 people has been done to contain the outbreak.
