My conscience doesn't allow to join hands with BJP: JDU leader Ali Anwar

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): Hours after Janata Dal United (JDU) announced merger with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar, one of the leader from the former party came in objection to the move on Thursday. Objecting to his party's stand, JDU leader Ali Anwar said that his conscience does not allow him to join hands with the saffron party.

JDU joined hands with the saffron party after Nitish Kumar resigned from the chief ministerial post yesterday. Kumar's resignation came after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejashwi Yadav did not resign after being cornered in corruption cases.

Nitish Kumar will take oath today.
