Pakistan Rangers meet Rajnath Singh in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): A delegation of Pakistan Rangers, who are on visit to India for director general level talks, met Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday. Singh was accompanied by Minister of state for home affairs Kiren Rijiju.

Pakistan Rangers led by Major General Umar Farooq Burki met home minister in the national capital. The home minister is to discuss varied issues including the ceasefire violation.

According to sources, Singh maintained that the first bullet will never be fired from the Indian side. However, Pak DG said that he cannot assure on border firing issue as he is not part of the government.

The last BSF-Pakistan Rangers meeting was held on December 24-28, 2013 in Lahore.
