Panchen Lama must be allowed to meet followers in Tibet: Exiled PM Lobsang Sangay

Dharamsala, Sep 14 (ANI): Tibetan Prime Minister-in-exile, Lobsang Sangay said that Chinese government should allow Panchen Lama, the second-highest figure in Tibetan Buddhism, to visit Tibet and meet his followers. Gendun Choekyi Nyima was six-years-old when he was taken away by Chinese authorities after exiled spiritual leader the Dalai Lama named him as the 11th Panchen Lama.

China last week said that Panchen Lama was "living a normal life and did not wish to be disturbed".
