Police books Rajendra Kasawa for storing explosives which allegedly led to Jhabua blast

Jhabua, Sep 13 (ANI): Police on Sunday registered a case against Rajendra Kasawa who is absconding after the Jhabua explosion, for storing huge quantity of explosives which allegedly led to the blast. Kasawa has been booked under 3/4 explosives act and section 304 of IPC and all his residences and godowns have been sealed off and will be searched today.

According to reports, the blast took place in the building of Kasawa who owns a licence to use explosive material for digging wells in rocky areas. Reports suggest, Kasawa stored the explosive material including gelatin sticks in huge quantity in the residential building having two shops in it which led to the blast.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan CM will visit the site of the blast and extend his condolences to the victims. The death toll in Jhabua explosion has risen to 89 and still causalities are expected.
