Politicos slam Pak after its army chief warned India of 'unbearable consequences'

New Delhi, Sep 07 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday slammed Pakistan after its Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif warned India of 'unbearable consequences'. Sharif has said that Pak Army is capable of responding to an invasion by any external force and any enemy if ever resorts to any misadventure, regardless of its size and scale, it will have to pay an unbearable cost.

The army chief also said that Kashmir was an unfinished agenda of Partition and that peace in the region hinges on the resolution of the Kashmir dispute. Reacting on the same, BJP said that Pakistan is weak and these statements are coming out as a result of their frustration.

Congress leader PL Punia said that such statements should stop from both the sides. CPI leader Atul Anjan said that lack of policy is ruling Pakistan and this is the result of the same.

RJD leader Manoj Jha called the nuclear armed neighbour a rogue state.
