Rajouri encounter: Families of slain soldiers accuse government of inaction against Pakistan

Amritsar/Bhandara, Dec 24 (ANI): Families of slain soldiers, who were killed and their bodies were mutilated by Pakistan's Border Action Team or BAT in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Saturday, are accusing the government of not taking action against Pakistan. Family of Major Moharkar Prafulla Ambadas in Maharashtra's Bhandara mourned the loss of their son.

His mother said that her son had promised to visit them next year, but for them, now that year is never going to come. In Amritsar, family of Lance Naik Gurmail Singh went in deep mourning.

Her mother blamed the government for not controlling such ceasefire violations on the border, while also accusing the PM of not able to prevent killings of jawans. Earlier, two soldiers were murdered and mutilated near the Line of Control.

It was suspected to be an attack by the Border Action Team. Weeks later, the Army released a video of a massive fire assault on Pakistani posts on May 23.
