Reactions pour in on Hamid Ansari's stance to correct discrimination against Muslims

New Delhi, Sep 01 (ANI): A series of reactions poured in post Vice-President Hamid Ansari stated his stance on discrimination against Muslims which needs to be corrected. A muslim cleric Imam Umer Ahmed Iliyasi expressed his faith in the Modi-led government and said the eradication of discrimination against Muslims and development for them is yet to be witnessed with the passage of time.

The opposition also backed the stance but raised questions as to when will the Modi-led government stop this discrimination. Earlier today Hamid Ansari said India's Muslims are facing issues pertaining to identity, security, education, empowerment and a fair share in decision-making which must be corrected.

He also cited the official objective of "sab ka sath, sab ka vikas" (with everyone, for everyone's growth), calling it commendable.
