Reduced race duration: NGO on organising 'Run for Children' in toxic air

New Delhi, Nov 14 (ANI): After organising race for children on the occasion on Children's Day in toxic air, Co-Founder of NGO Prayas Amod Kanth clarified his organisation's stand. He said that the organisers reduced the run duration and didn't know about air pollution emergency till November 13.

"That's (pollution) why we reduced run duration. It was symbolic run.

Real program is children's day cultural event for which children were preparing for months. We didn't know about this emergency (air quality) till yesterday," said Kanth.

On the occasion of Children's Day, a race for little ones was organised in the national capital on November 14. 'Run for Children' was organised by an NGO 'Prayas'.
