SDMC sprinkles water at Delhi Gate to control air pollution

New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) sprinkled water on roads near Delhi Gate area of the national capital on November 03. The step is taken to settle the dust as a pollution control measure. The AQI in Delhi has gone worst after Diwali festival. On November 01, the Supreme Court-mandated Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) declared public health emergency in Delhi due to rising air pollution levels. To curb air pollution, the Arvind Kejriwal led-government in Delhi has announced the implementation of the odd-even scheme from November 04-15.
