New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): Teachers-students of St Stephen's College staged protest against the inclusion of a Supreme Council member in its interview panel on Friday. They are condemning the decision calling it "illegal and unacademic".

Teacher representative in its governing body says "The Council has no role in admission." While speaking to ANI, St Stephen's College Assistant Professor Nandita Narain said, "Admission has to be on basis of merit, merit is academic. When they're being interviewed for their admission to a course, and these aren't courses in Theology, then what's the role of a church member who isn't a teacher of the college? What's his accountability?"
